It's back!
From dinosaurs to a 'music through the decades' theme, the 2023 Leyland Festival is set to appeal even more people than ever. The bumper family day will take place on Saturday, June 17, at Worden Park.
Other highlights include live performances of pop, rock, new wave and classic cheese music through the decades while the Jurassic Earth fun zone will see a giant interactive dinosaur come to life. Young visitors will also get the opportunity to get stuck into a number of new activities introduced for 2023.They include forest and den building workshops, crafts, a magic show, bouncy castle and other inflatables, face painting, storytelling and DJ sessions for any budding Fatboy Slims.
For those keen to seek moments of peace during the day, a 'Quiet Zone' will be set up as a designated space for families to retreat to if they "feel overwhelmed in a noisy environment".
