Lewis Capaldi has released his phone number on social media with thousands of fans scrambling to call the Scots singer-songwriter. But of course it was a genius ploy amid the release of his news single, Pointless.
In his voice memo, he says: "Hello, thanks for very much for calling! It's Lewis. It's absolutely pointless calling me, I have got nothing else to say." Fans were then texted with a link to directly download 'Pointless' on iTunes. One person wrote on Twitter: "Stop teasing, Lewis!"
