I am upset to read that the Texas Senate wants to force state retirement plans to divest from firms that the Legislature consider ESG friendly. These investment firms are some of the world’s largest. Senate Bill 2 changes the standard for election law violations. If a person knows a condition exists that makes her ineligible to vote but does not know enough about election law to know that it makes her ineligible to vote, and she attempts to vote , the attempt to vote would become a criminal offense if SB 2 becomes law.
Of all the insane liberal ideas I have ever heard, this one takes the cake. Proposing to make all qualified Black citizens instant millionaires living on easy street is totally absurd.
