As for the infamous anti-abortion law, Texas will inevitably find it more difficult to attract top female athletes, who won’t want to risk attending college in a state where they will not have any option about controlling their reproductive decisions. Female students in general will be impacted by this hostile environment.
To say that emission control is not important is a problem, but it fades when considering other consequences of this decision. I guess it’s an inconvenience to have to go to a safety inspection station and have your car inspected. However, the concern about the ages of the people on the task force is valid. That group of individuals should be representative of the makeup of the city of Plano.
