Albert “A.J.” Martinez, father of slain SAISD police officer Clifton “Cliff” Martinez, gives a victim impact statement April 24. A reader says the sentence for the man held responsible in Martinez’s death wasn’t harsh enough.I don’t know who was responsible for coordinating the event at the San Antonio State School on April 22, but they did a wonderful job.
There were also vendors with all kinds of goods and delicious food. The effort of the staff to bring these residents to see all this is just beyond words, and they deserve to be praised for their tireless work.
