A Wheaton letter to the editor: Writers tend to make statements that only support their views.
Writers tend to make statements that only support their views. In the March 16 Daily Herald, a writer proclaims that"No one in the intelligence or scientific community believes that the virus was 'engineered' or that the release was deliberate." Really? Or maybe no one you agreed with.
Another mentioned the"riots" at the Capitol on Jan. 6 but failed to mention the 2020 riots and attacks on government buildings by BLM or other leftwing groups. Columnist Keith Peterson pointed out that Trump tried to shake down Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and was impeached for his trouble, but failed to mention that Joe Biden took the same action against Ukrainian officials, was successful and bragged about it.
Fox News is often criticized as broadcasting false information, but no criticism is made of CNN, MSNBC and the major networks for making false statements, surely no one believes the major news outlets always speak the truth, or do they?
