Joseph Bianchi writes that cars kill more than guns. True, but cars are registered, licensed and insured.

No one is taking a car away simply because it's registered, unless used in a crime. I doubt the founders would say everyone has the right to a car. The car was an improvement over the horse and buggy, so some people felt a need to register them. Today's guns are an improvement over single-shot muzzle loaders and should be registered.Wood Dale
