While the focus always tends to be on A-level students, I like to remind people that those thousands of young men and women who opted for vocational or technical qualifications over academic ones deserve no less praise. So, to the manyAfter all, intelligence shows itself in different ways and employers, from both the professional and trade sectors, are finally beginning to grasp the fact that those who do not choose a path through academia have as much to offer as those who do.
While some of you may not feel like cheering after not doing as well as you had hoped, I want to remind you that your life prospects are by no means irreparably harmed. Believe me, it’s not over.
