White House officials expressed confidence that they would reverse the court rulings that shut down Biden’s effort to cancel student loan debt for millions of Americans. But the legal limbo is already prompting calls to extend the payment pause.
on Saturday, arguing that Democrats retained control of the Senate because they delivered on “significant economic progress for working people” on a range of issues, including student loan relief.
— But the path to reviving Biden’s student debt relief program after it was struck down by a federal judge last week is unclear.
