A yellow warning covers a vast swathe of England as more rain is on the way
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather alert for heavy rain in Leeds until 4pm and warned that heavy showers could lead to further flooding.
The warning covers Yorkshire and the Humber and the East midlands, with heavy rain forecast to move north across the region on Tuesday morning. The Met Office said most areas of Leeds will be hit with outbreaks of showery rain throughout the day, with conditions turning drier later on.
