After a weekend of festivities the hard working staff begin the job of returning the park to its former glory
and its sister event Reading Festival has spoken about the collective environmental responsibility for those who attend the event.Melvin said: “It is always the same . Take as much home as you can. Take as much home as you can. It is an absolute message and a desired message.”
Despite the plea, there are scenes of widespread rubbish and many tents appear to have been abandoned at the park on Monday. The festival appears to have avoided some of the chaotic scenes of previous years with 2022 being memorable for a number of tents seen on fire.
