EXCLUSIVE: Celebs Go Dating expert opens up about last year's off the cuff match with Laura Anderson and Gary Lucy who are now expecting their first child despite splitting
Laura Anderson and Gary Lucy first met when they both took part in Celebs Go Dating last year and are now expecting a child together, despite parting ways. During their time on the popular E4 reality show which is now filming its new series, the pair "broke the rules".
The pair first met when filming began in July 2022, at the time Laura had recently split from singer, Dane Bowers who she had lived in Dubai with. As the show is aimed at celebrities dating members of the public, the former Love Islander, 34 who is currently pregnant and the Hollyoaks actor, 41 couldn't resist and instead opted to date each other.
After a whirlwind romance, the pair announced in February they were expecting their first child together. Not long after finding out she was pregnant the couple split which Laura told OK! was "unpredicted" and "was not planned." "But normally it's the general public that apply to come on the show and we will work out if they’re a match to go out on a date with our celebs."
