Just over a week after the tragic death of Taylor Hawkins, the band won all three Grammy Awards they were nominated for.
Foo Fighters won a clean sweep of Grammy Awards just over a week after the death of their drummer, Taylor Hawkins.
Hawkins died on March 25 at the age of 50. He was found unresponsive in his hotel room in Bogotá, Colombia. An early aThe day before Hawkins' death, Foo Fighters were announced as one of the bands due to performance at the main ceremony for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. On March 31 the band canceled their performance and instead a tribute to the former band member is planned for the ceremony.
