‘I’m heartbroken,’ her co-star said in tribute Lara Parker, the actress best-known for playing witch Angelique Bouchard Collins in Dark Shadows, has died at the age of 84. In a tribute, Kathryn Leigh Scott, who starred alongside her in the gothic soap opera, said that she was ‘heartbroken’. ‘I’m heartbroken, as all of us are who knew and loved her,’ she said. ‘She graced our lives with her beauty, talent and friendship, and we are all richer for having had her in our lives.
Her other roles included appearing in the 1973 Oscar-winning Save The Tiger, the 1975 film Race With the Devil with Peter Fonda and in the 1970 movie Hi, Mom! with Robert De Niro. As well as her roles on the screen, Parker also achieved success on the stage, making her Broadway debut in 1968 in Woman Is My Idea, before starring in the off-Broadway production of Lulu the following year.
