The film is released this week
In spring 2022, the streets of Clitheroe were taken over by the cats and crew of a movie inspired by Take That. And now, just over a year later, the wait is over for locals to see their beloved town on the silver screen, when the movie is released in cinemas on June 16.
"It's great for the town, its brings people here, "David told LancsLive. " So if it is good for the town, it is good for me. "It is the biggest town in Ribble Valley it is great for businesses sand great for people, " the mayor added. "Clitheroe was chosen because it has got a castle, an amazing park, loads of historic building and really is a lovely place to live and visit.
