Six alerts have been put in place
Flood warnings and alerts have been issued in Lancashire and Cumbria as both counties brace for more heavy rain this week.
"Cloud and rain clearing eastwards during the morning to leave a blustery day with sunny spells and a few locally heavy showers during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 12 °C." There are two active flood warnings on the Cumbrian coastline at Morecambe Bay, along the coast from Roosebeck to Carnforth and between Roosebeck, Ulverston, Flookburgh and A590.
The Environment Agency said: "Flooding is expected in this area. This means properties are at risk of flooding.
