A Lanarkshire MSP has visited an East Kilbride Men’s Shed to support the group which helps improve men’s mental health and prevent social isolation.

“The Men’s Shed is a lifeline for many in the community. Isolation kills and we need to do more as a community to look out for one another and ensure that nobody is forced to experience the brutality of loneliness. East Kilbride Men’s Shed is pioneering this.” “Having recently increased its profile in the town by its relocation to the easily accessible St Leonard's Square last year, it now has over 60 members with more joining every week. The social and workshop activities are ideal to get people out of the house helping improve their physical and mental health.
