A luxury Lake District bed and breakfast has won a top tourism industry award. The Hideaway at Windermere has been named the Friendliest B&B of the Year at the AA B&B Awards 2022.

Meanwhile, The Edwardene in Keswick was named in the top 10 Friendliest B&B in The UK."Delicious food, individually designed bedrooms and warm hospitality ensure an enjoyable stay," an AA inspector added after visiting.
The winner of B&B of the Year 2022 for England was Highcliffe House in Devon for Scotland the Meikleour Arms in Perth & Kinross took the top spot while The Bear in Powys was named the best in Wales.
