The Lake County Sheriff's Office says deputies found items stolen from home-construction sites in Concord Township in the vehicle of a suspect. CONCORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office has a suspect in custody after more than $40,000 in supplies and tools were stolen from various construction sites.
Andrew Ingram, 28, of Concord Township, is facing four counts of breaking and entering, two counts of fifth-degree felony theft, one count of fourth-degree felony theft, possession of methamphetamines, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The thefts occurred between Nov. 15 and Nov. 18 at home-construction sites on Concord-Hambden Road in Concord, the sheriff’s office says. Building, supplies, siding and tools with a total value of $43,500 were taken.
On Saturday, deputies were called to a site on the 11300 block of Concord-Hambden Road when someone reported a suspicious person. A theft already had occurred earlier at the site. When deputies arrived, they reportedly found Ingram loading his vehicle with stolen siding. Ingram was arrested and he authorities say he also had methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia.
