A Los Angeles meteorologist collapsed on air, falling to the floor and forcing an emergency commercial break

A CBS Los Angeles meteorologist collapsed on the air Saturday morning, falling behind her desk, just as fellow news anchors tossed to her for a segment.

Alissa Carlson is now resting and recovering, according to KCAL, the Los Angeles CBS affiliate. In a post on her Facebook page Saturday, Carlson reassured followers. A video posted to Twitter appears to show Carlson on air falling forward onto her desk before sliding to the ground just before she was set to give a weather update.
