The song traces its jump to an 8% increase in audience impressions logged in the week ending June 30, according to Nielsen Music.

“El Amor” becomes La Adictiva’s eighth No. 1 overall dating back to May 2011 when “Te Amo y Te Amo” arrived at the top in its 16th week and reigned for nine nonconsecutive weeks; its longest charting title at No. 1. “El Amor” is the third single off their upcoming album and follows “Con Todo Lo Incluido,” a former No. 1 .
The new ballad, written by Horacio Placencia, also secures a top 10 spot on the Latin Airplay list, climbing 12-8. La Adictiva collects its eighth top 10 there.
