collaboration with the famous French fashion house,founder unveiled the news super early in the morning on Tuesday, September 24, on Instagram in the form of a single, stunning campaign photo with the brand's creative director, Olivier Rousteing.
The campaign photo features Jenner and Rousteing in a high-fashion prom pose in matching white ensembles in front of a lavender holographic background. It's playful, sleek,ultra-glam all at the same time. As for the caption, it reads: "Paris is always a good idea 🇫🇷 surprise... KYLIE X BALMAIN @kyliecosmetics collection launching this Friday 9.27 on KylieCosmetics.com.
In regards to what we know so far, according to a press release from the brand, the collection is set to debut in Paris as a part of Balmain's spring/summer 2020 show at the historic Opera Garnier. "This special collection celebrates the first time Kylie Cosmetics has participated in a fashion show and features Kylie Jenner as the Artistic Director of make up," reads a statement from the press release.
As for the packaging, it's inspired by Balmain's fall/winter 2019 runway, which showcased Parisian-street art prints and its pastel tones. "I've always been a huge fan of Olivier's work for Balmain. His designs are so unique and whenever I wear one of his pieces, I feel confident and beautiful, and that's how I've always wanted my fans to feel when they wear Kylie Cosmetics," said Jenner in a statement in the same press release.
