A celebrated Korean singer was found dead in a rest room at a concert venue minutes before she was supposed to go on stage.
Lee Sang-Eun, 46, was set to perform “Carmina Burana” at Grand Hall of Gimcheon Culture and Art Center when she was discovered. No cause of death was given. A graduate of the Mannes School Of Music in New York, she won female musician of the year at the Korean Music Awards in 2004 and 2006.
