King Charles meets Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in ‘truly special’ audience at Buckingham Palace
King Charles held a "truly special" audience with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Buckingham Palace today, Wednesday.
The pair discussed the conflict in Ukraine and the part Britain has played in supporting the nation, Buckingham Palace said. Earlier today, Zelenskyy referred to his meeting with King Charles by saying it "will be a truly special moment for me." Zelenskyy posted a photo of his meeting on his official Instagram, saying: "I had a meeting with King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I congratulated him on his recent accession to the throne and wished peace and prosperity to the British people.
The Royal Family Instagram account also posted a photo of the meeting, with the simple caption saying King Charles had met with Zelenskyy.
