Smith revealed alongside a series of on-set stills that the scene would have seen Silent Bob face a presumably revived Golgothan Demon that was faced earlier in the film. Before facing the creature, Bethany gave Silent Bob a kiss for luck in the vein of Star Wars: A New Hope's swinging scene that would be Silent Bob's first on-screen kiss in the franchise.
Why Dogma Is One Of Smith's Most Hard-To-Find Films While Smith's Dogma was quickly deemed blasphemous by various religious groups and faced denouncements, protests, and even death threats towards the director, the film still remains one of his most celebrated works and the highest-grossing film in the View Askew universe. Despite this, the film has not seen a new release since its 2008 Blu-ray release and is unavailable on streaming or digital storefronts.
