In October, Carys's five-year-old son Charlie was discharged from Kettering General, but she returned him the next day in a "sort of lifeless" state. She said he was discharged from Skylark ward on 22 October with his illness said to be the "remnants" of an ear infection, with Carys stating she was "very surprised they said he should be discharged just because of the state of him".
