Kathy Griffin says Bernie Sanders supporters 'come at me and they threaten me in the same way' as Trump supporters.
Kathy Griffin is all-in for a female president. During a BUILD Series interview on July 18 to promote her new documentary, Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story, the comedian did not shy away from giving her opinion on the field of 2020 Democratic presidential candidates.
Griffin’s attitude toward the male candidates in the Democratic field, especially Bernie Sanders, was not as positive. Griffin clarified her feelings on Sanders before commenting on his tenure in the Senate, as well as her experience with his supporters.
