Today marks the beginning of the annual five-day horse race in Berkshire, England known as the Royal Ascot. And yes, you guessed it—royals aplenty were in attendance including everyone from Queen Elizabeth to Lady Kitty Spencer. To no one's surprise, guests, both royal and not, showed up dressed to the nines sporting some of the poshest frocks, suits, and dainty hats to match.
Kate Middleton showed up to the 2019 Royal Ascot wearing an Elie Saab dress and Philip Treacy hat that closely resembled an ensemble Princess Diana wore 30 years ago while on a trip to Australia. Both looks were blue, had high necklines, were midi in length, and were topped off with a very regal matching blue hat.
