The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the luxe country mansion Donnington Priory where a series of royal artworks were on offer.
The Prince and Princess of Wales enjoyed a 'top secret' date night in a rather unusual location as the couple attended the salerooms of auctioneers Dreweatts in Berkshire on Friday as part of the three-day event.
It had a very key royal sentiment, with one of the pieces in the collection belonging to Lady Chatto, Prince William's second cousin. The auction sold around 750 personal selections from Kime's homes in London and Provence, including Lady Sarah's oil paintings. After attending Bedales School, the 59-year-old studied at the Camberwell School of Art and at the Royal Academy Schools.
"They were looking very, very interested," a devotee of the antiques trade said, adding that "everybody was all over Twitter to see them. It was the beginning of the very big champagne reception that auctioneers always have before a serious sale."
