The Liverpudlian secured gold in this weekend's finals in Budapest

Katarina Johnson-Thompson won gold for the first time since 2019 after amassing 6740 points in the 2023 heptathlon World Championships.

The 30-year-old, from Wavertree, had overtaken Hall after an excellent earlier effort in the long jump before boasting a personal best of 46.14m in the javelin, which extended her overall lead to 26 points after six events and heading into Sunday night's finale.
