Police responding to a possible break-in at a vacant house discovered someone had moved in. Upon investigation, they found two juveniles in the home, whom they escorted out.

Police were sent Sept. 4 to a possible burglary in progress. The caller had fired his gun at the suspects. When officers arrived at East 222nd Street and Miller Avenue, they found two gunshot wound victims in a car.Police stopped a vehicle Sept. 5 for speeding. Officers discovered the license plates on the vehicle were fictitious and expired. The driver provided false information. Police attempted to detain the driver, and he fled the scene.

A woman reported Sept. 5 her daughter had been assaulted by several other girls. The assault was recorded and later posted on a social media account.A woman reported Sept. 5 that cash and jewelry were stolen from her apartment by a man who she had allowed to sleep over.Police conducted a welfare check Sept. 6 at an apartment and found a dog was being kept in an unsanitary environment. The dog was taken to a shelter.Officers in the Community Response Unit stopped a car Sept.
