Rick and Morty season 7 has to make the risky move of recasting its main characters, but Justin Roiland's other show has already proven that the upcoming season can survive it. Rick and Morty is a pretty meta show, with the series making all kinds of references to and jokes about real-world events that have affected the show. However, even Rick and Morty will struggle to address the recasting of the titular space-faring duo.
The clip showing off Korvo's new voice actually gives the actor change a story reason, and it is pretty hilarious. In the clip, Terry accidentally throws a dart into Korvo's throat, seriously injuring him. Luckily, Yumyulack zaps Korvo with a Schlorpian voice-fixing ray. The ray causes Korvo to have a brand-new voice, that of Dan Stevens, with the new British voice sounding nothing like Roiland's iteration of the character.
