A measly 12% of Americans believe President Biden should be the leader of the Democratic Party, a new poll shows.
and socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders were picked as the best choice for party leader by 5% of Democrats polled.
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi received 2% support, while a plurality of respondents — 31% — gave no answer, and 21% named other Democrats. Former President Donald Trump, 76, was favored to lead the party by 20% of those surveyed. In November, Trump announced that he would vie for the 2024for president for a third time, and DeSantis is believed to be among his chief challenger.
