Jude Law to star in new HBO and skyatlantic limited series, 'The Third Day':
will see Law star as Sam, who after being drawn to an island off the coast of Britain, has to deal with its unusual world and mysterious inhabitants. Between his isolation and the rituals of the inhabitants, Sam is faced with past trauma and finds himself immersed in a quest against the islanders as the lines between reality and fantasy blur.
’s Adrian Sturges producing, the show is sure to be an adventure. Sky Studios will produce alongside Plan B, Punchdrunk International, and the series’ co-creator and writer Dennis Kelly . Kelly co-created the show with Punchdrunk’s Felix Barrett.,” Casey Bloys, president of HBO programming, said in a statement . “We look forward to collaborating with Punchdrunk International, Marc and Jude as well as furthering our relationship with Sky and Plan B Entertainment.
