Along with encouraging fans to donate to Doctors Without Borders through the video, Saxe, Michaels and Sony Music announced that any and all proceeds from their new rendition of the song would be donated to the organization, which is currently providing care, health education and mental health support throughout the world to those suffering with coronavirus.
We asked some of our friends to sing this song with us to help benefit an organization very close to our hearts, Doctors Without Borders, where all proceeds received by Sony Music and the artists from the video will be donated," Saxe and Michaels said in a statement released with the track."At a time when it can sometimes feel like ‘the world is ending,’ we thank all of the healthcare workers, first responders, and essential workers who are helping so many people in need.
