Former Rangers star Josh Windass hopes the newest striking recruits can replicate what Alfredo Morelos brought to Govan.
Former Rangers man Josh Windass has told the Light Blues' newest striking recruits that they will do well to replace Alfredo Morelos' output.
The two have gone on to have differing careers, though Morelos' time at Rangers only ended in June. He's yet to have found a club since, but that hasn't stopped Windass offering kind words to his former striking partner - before telling Michael Beale's new signings that they have a lot to live up to if they want to replicate the form that the Colombian showed in his six-year spell at Ibrox.
"He’s a good guy, doesn’t speak a lot of English but is quite a funny character in the changing room with his body language and the way he acts, he brightens up the room and makes training a good place to go to.
