Keldon Johnson, Josh Primo targeting next week for return

Both players suffered minor injuries in open gym scrimmages before the start of training camp on Sept. 27. Johnson sustained a dislocated right shoulder, while Primo sprained his left medial collateral ligament. “The preseason is good for us bonding and jelling and we have a young team, so I’m just excited to get them back and have our whole roster for a few games,” Vassell said. “It will also be huge for them to get back and get their rhythm going.”Popovich wasn’t the only head coach on the floor with a championship on his resume during Thursday morning’s shootaround.
