Joe Joyce says Anthony Joshua is ‘taking the long route back’ amid choice to face Jermaine Franklin
AJ boxed at championship level for 12 straight fights before his run ended with Oleksandr Usyk taking his titles in 2021 and retaining them in their rematch in August 2022.But despite this, Joyce believes Joshua’s decision to face Franklin for his comeback fight shows he isn’t in a rush to get back to the very top of heavyweight boxing.
