Radio 2 DJ Jeremy Vine has denied claims he is the unnamed BBC presenter who is being investigated internally after allegedly paying a teenager £35,000 for sexually explicit photos
Jeremy Vine is the latest BBC star to deny being the presenter being investigated for paying a teen more than £35,000 for sexually explicit photographs.
The claims suggest an unnamed star at the state-funded broadcaster has been accused of giving money to a 17-year-old for sexually explicit images. Vine's tweet follows Rylan Clark issuing a similar statement earlier on Saturday, with the former Strictly It Takes Two presenter saying: "Not sure why my names floating about but re that story in The Sun - that ain’t me babe. I’m currently filming a show in Italy for the BBC, so take my name out ya mouths."
