The tabloid quotes a supposed friend of the singer as saying, “Adele has always envisioned herself up on the big screen. She loves making music videos – mini movies she calls them – and now that she is single, she wants to focus on her dreams.” The friend makes no mention of what Adele being single has to do with acting.
There is nothing to indicate Adele aspires to be an actress. She has been working on her next album for the better part of the last year, and although there’s no official release date, some are reporting that it’s expected to drop sometime before Christmas. It seems highly likely that the singer will then embark on a world tour in support of her album, and that will likely fill up the next couple of years in her schedule.
In fact, it’s been rumored in the past that Adele was moving towards acting, but she never has. There’s no reason to think she is now, nor that she would need “help” from Lawrence or Stone to land a film role.
