Jennie McAlpine has some exciting news to share with OK! for the new year - the Coronation Street actress is expecting her third child.
“It just feels really nice,” Jennie tells us. “We’re so over the moon. The thought of adding to our family mix and chaos was the best Christmas present! I’m really excited for 2023 – it’ll be a special one.” Now over halfway, Jennie is marking off the milestones ahead of her April due date. And she admits her 12-week and 20-week scans were “emotional”, adding that she felt “just relief and pure joy”.
“There are days I forget!” she says. “When I was pregnant with Albert, the pregnancy just consumed me, but there are other lives consuming me this time. All the schedules and calendars I have on the fridge… the logistics of three, getting them to swimming lessons… It’s going to be chaos, isn’t it?” Become an OK! Before the special news came out, Jennie enjoyed a couple of weeks with her family at home, celebrating the festive season. “It was a nice chilled Christmas and our last as a family of four. It was really special – there was something so exciting and magical about it all.”
