Denny Hamlin became the first NASCAR Cup driver to have a win taken away from him and was also disqualified sinceThe DQ marked only the second time in NASCAR history that both the winning and runner-up drivers were disqualified.spoke with NASCAR On NBC analysts Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte—a former NASCAR Cup driver and NASCAR Cup crew chief, respectively, about the controversy.and this past Sunday’s disqualification of race winner and runner-up Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch, it’s M.C.
Kyle Busch, left, and Denny Hamlin took the brunt of NASCAR’s biggest race-day penalty in more than 60 years.Hamlin became the first driver to have a win taken away from him and was also disqualified since Speedway on April 17, 1960, when Zervakis was found to have an illegal fuel tank . Both the Zervakis and Weatherly/Reed information were unearthed by Ken Martin, director of historical content, NASCAR Productions.about the Hamlin/Busch incident, while Letarte’s comments were aired Monday on NASCAR Motormouths on Peacock. Here are highlights from each of those interviews:
“If NASCAR and the teams want the concept of this car to work, there's no choice. No matter what NASCAR does, there's gonna be some people that say, ‘I didn’t like that, or I do like this.’ That's just the business they’re in. They're never going to be in a position where everybody, all the fans, agree that’s the right thing. In this case, the owners, drivers, NASCAR, they all agreed we're going to do it like this. And anything less would be a mistake.

Neutron-Diffraction Study of Antiferromagnetic Fe${\mathrm{Cl}}_{3}$Neutron diffraction measurements were made on polycrystalline and single-crystal samples of anhydrous Fe${\mathrm{Cl}}_{3}$ at sample temperatures from 298 to 1.3\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}K. Antiferromagnetic reflections were observed which indicate a complicated magnetic structure with a N\'eel temperature of 15\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}K. In this structure the magnetic moments of near-neighbor atoms in the $c$-axis direction are oppositely oriented, but superimposed on this order there is a modulation of the moment distribution in the [$14\overline{5}0$] direction. From the absence of satellite reflections other than first order and from the relative intensities of the first order satellites, it is concluded that the modulation is of the helical type in which the moments lie within ($14\overline{5}0$) planes and rotate by $\frac{2\ensuremath{\pi}}{15}$ in successive planes along the [$14\overline{5}0$] direction. Absolute intensity measurements yield a moment of $(4.3\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.4){\ensuremath{\mu}}_{B}$ per ${\mathrm{Fe}}^{+3}$ ion, and indicate a slight distortion of the helix.
