The TV presenter awarded Heughan, 42, with the Audience Award for his role as Jamie Fraser in the hit Starz series Outlander
Jean Johansson gushed over receiving a kiss on the cheek from Sam Heughan after presenting him with an award at the Scottish BAFTAs.

Very proud of you pal!" Fans quickly jumped on the post to congratulate the actor on his award win. One said: " Congratulations Sam. We, the audience, gave you this award a long time ago. It's wonderful to see BAFTA Scotland finally catch up! Your portrayal of Jamie Fraser has been remarkable for six seasons. Thank you for bringing him to life with such care and love."
