During the strenuous quest for a hearty lunch, he came across a local Chinese restaurant – Roasta Preston, or as he called it the ‘column marked cafe’ situated in Plungington Road. Jay tried a bit of everything from the ‘squeakily fresh’ prawns to the ‘hilariously turbo-charged’ dry fried green beans with minced pork to a huge platter of shimmering duck wings, duck necks and duck gizzards that give a ‘cracking beneath the teeth’.Read more:In the evening, Jay, had an inkling for Spanish cuisine, getting set to be enwrapped by another Preston eatery. This time a tapas and bar restaurant called Bar Pintxos, located in the Market Place.
