Jax business leaders denounce antisemitism after weekend displays
A nonpartisan group of First Coast business leaders was the latest to speak out against antisemitism, following a weekend in which antisemitic messages were projected on TIAA Bank Field and hung from a highway overpass.
The statement follows earlier statements from community leaders, with Jax Chamber Chair Ray Driver sending out an email Sunday night that said"t On Saturday, the message “Kanye was right about the Jews” was projected on the outside of the football stadium during the Georgia-Florida football game. The message, similar to one that neo-Nazis have displayed on highways in California, references remarks the rapper has made, starting with a tweet that said he would go"death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.
