Jamie Webster said he gave an instant answer after being approached to perform at The National Lottery's Big Eurovision Welcome event.
After coming off stage he spoke to The ECHO about when he first received the call about being part of the event alongside Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Zara Larson and Atomic Kitten.The show included aerial performers, drone shows and a one of a kind lighting display that will be directly projected against St George's Hall.
Jamie added that there was a special meaning behind his cover of The Beatles which linked to Liverpool hosting Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine. "So this place was a no brainer. Come Together I was a little bit sceptical because it's a hard vocal - John Lennon is a hard person to follow - but thankfully I have had a week off so I haven't been singing too much so my vocals are nice and rested.
