Adjust that calendar: When the Jaguars face the Titans this weekend with playoffs on the line in Jacksonville, they'll be moving to a new time slot.
Jacksonville is coming off of a 31-3 victory over the Texans, extending its winning streak to four games. The team has gone 6-2 since starting the year 2-6.
Following the team's victory over the Texans on Sunday, Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said he would have loved to play Sunday to have an extra couple of days of preparation,"but we'll play when they ask us or tell us to play, and our guys will be ready to go. If I could pick, I would pick Sunday."
"It should be electric," said Pederson."We're playing for the AFC South, and we need all our fans that can get there to get there. It's going to be a great atmosphere. Our guys will feed off of that energy, and it will be fun. It will be a fun one to coach and play in.” Jacksonville was victorious in its only other prime-time game this season, defeating the New York Jets 19-3 on Thursday Night Football in Week 16. The last time the Jaguars played on prime time on a day other than Thursday was in 2011, a Monday Night Football game at home against the Chargers. The team lost 38-14.
