Good news for Jaguars fans: Jacksonville running back Travis Etienne is expected to suit up on Sunday against the Lions.

He played just five snaps during the contest, carrying the football twice for just three yards. Etienne practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

The injury Etienne suffered on Sunday is unrelated to the Lisfranc injury he suffered during the preseason of his rookie year in 2021 which kept him from suiting up during the regular season.about his status for this week's matchup. "We'll be straight by next weekend," he told reporters. Etienne has accounted for 133 carries for 728 yards and four touchdowns. He's caught 22 passes for 202 yards.
