The beauty vlogger apologizes and talks about moving forward in her first YouTube video since mid-June.
. It's been even longer since the influencer posted a video to her YouTube account, where her last clip attempted to address said issues. After weeks of complaints from vocal customers on social media, Hill has returned to her primary outlet, posting a YouTube video titled "Where I've Been."
Hill tells viewers that, despite advice she had received suggesting she essentially avoid addressing the lipstick situation further, she felt that wouldn't be right considering the relationship she has fostered with her followers — one that has included being very open about personal things, from mental health to divorce.
Hill says she realized, "I did not have a quality-control team big enough to handle what I was doing at all. And I totally messed up, and the fact that I had to mess up and show my ass in front of millions of people who love me and trust me" She says she "trusted the wrong people" and "did a lot of things that I should not have done," without going into detail about what those things were.
