Ardern urged people to instead “speak the names of those who were lost”.

New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern has vowed never to say the name of the alleged perpetrator of the Christchurch attacks, and once again called on social media platforms to take more responsibility.in shooting attacks on two mosques, Ardern said: “We cannot allow this to happen again… our gun laws will change.”

Referencing the 28-year-old Australian charged with murder over the attacks, Ardern declared he will face the “full force of the law in New Zealand”. “We cannot simply sit back and accept that these platforms just exist and that what is said on them is not the responsibility of a place where they are published,” she said.
